Introduction
TribeApp (“the App”) is a mobile interface that allows authorized employees to access their organization’s Human Resource Management System (“HRMS”). The App does not create or store separate user accounts and does not maintain any personal data independently. All employee information displayed in the App is processed and stored solely by the employer’s HRMS
What Data the App Collects
The App itself does not collect or store personal data beyond what is required to enable secure access to the HRMS. Specifically:• Login Credentials: Entered by the user only for authentication and securely transmitted to the HRMS.The App does not permanently store credentials.• Session Information: Authentication tokens may be stored temporarily only for the duration of the user session.• Device or Technical Data: Apple may collect crash logs or diagnostic information as per its own policies. The App does not collect such data.
No Account Creation in the App
The App does not allow creation of new accounts. All employee accounts are created and managed solely by the organization’s HR or system administrators within the HRMS.
No Data Deletion Option
The App does not provide any option for deleting personal data or deleting an account. Employee information is controlled entirely by the employer. The employer is legally required to retain HR and employment-related records for periods mandated under Indian laws, including but not limited to:• Shops and Establishments Act• Factories Act• Income Tax Act record retention rules• PF & ESIC regulations• Indian Companies Act statutory record-keepingThese obligations override individual deletion requests. Therefore, employees cannot delete their data via the App or by contacting the App provider.
Data Retention
The App itself stores no personal data. All HRMS data is retained by the employer according to statutory retention periods under Indian employment, tax, and company laws. The App only displays the data already stored by the HRMS.
Data Access & Corrections
Employees wishing to update or correct personal information must contact their organization’s HR department or system administrator. The App cannot modify or correct employee data.
Security
All communication between the App and the HRMS uses encrypted channels (e.g., HTTPS/TLS). The App does not store personal data permanently on the device.
